AKC Classic Italian Stiletto

AKC Classic Italian Stiletto

This is a relatively inexpensive stiletto of classic design (fixed guard, sliding safety, ball release button, back lock). The handle is marbled blue plastic. The blade lock is released by tilting one bolster. Like many such knives, the sliding safety is a bit weak and easy to dislodge, but the button must be depressed firmly to release the blade, so there's little danger. The blade locks up very nicely on this knife, which opens with a lot of momentum. This is the stuff of juvenile delinquents' fantasies.
